Beloved Cherry Blossom
I'm a tad late to be posting this one, but I've had these wonderful photos with me for a few weeks and since I've started blogging again, I'm just going to take a moment to share my love of Cherry Blossom. I don't think there is anything more glorious in nature than the blooming and shedding of the Cherry Blossom, an example from mother nature's portfolio of surface patterns. These trees hold so many memories of my precious time and loved ones in Korea, but also they make me look to the future and new beginnings. I'm currently working on some ideas using these beautiful things, but I'm wary about playing with them as they are so sacred to me! To further reinforce this point, my husband and I will be re-declaring our vows next year in Korea in April, which was planned for the time of the blossoms!
The first photo I took was on my way to work in South East London, which proves the fact that these beauties can brighten up any(ah-hem)where!

This next one was sent to me by my lovely sister in law, taken outside of her high school. I love the fact that despite being on opposite sides of the world, we can still rejoice together about this time of year, marked by the Cherry Blossoms.
